Public location rules
Public listings use a ZIP, city, service area, or deliberately approximate point. Private foster, volunteer, adopter, and residential addresses are never included merely because a location record exists.
Trusted-role verification
Basic accounts can browse and participate casually. Foster, transport, organization, business, moderation, and administration capabilities may require progressive verification. Evidence references and reviewer notes remain non-public.
Private workflow details
Foster contact details, transport handoffs, identity records, internal rescue notes, shipping addresses, and payment-provider references are excluded from public serializers and limited by server-side authorization.
Payments
CritterLink does not store card details. Browser redirects do not establish payment success; signed server-side provider notifications control donation, membership, and order payment state.
